Editorial and thought leadership

Editorial pieces show what you’re all about; they’re a chance to showcase your distinctiveness and build the profile you want, as an individual or as a company. They call for vivid, elegant copy that’s full of character and that really nails your key messages.

Under my own name and for other people I’ve written multiple opinion pieces for the biggest newspapers and outlets in the UK, including the Guardian, the Times, the Independent, the i, The Telegraph, the Financial Times, TES, and the Daily and Sunday Mail.

Much of my experience is in writing for high-profile individuals and CEOs. My copy is crisp and focused, and my background as an editor means I can help with fact-checking and accuracy too.

(I’ve also got bags of experience in pitching editorial pieces. If you have an idea for a piece but aren’t quite sure how to place it, I can help.)

I know how to kick up an internet storm (my piece on Yummy Mummies led the Guardian’s website for the best part of a day and got over 1500 comments). If you want a sober focus on a sensitive issue with the minimum of fuss, I can do that too. Whether you have 250 words or 1000 words; whether you want plenty of jokes and character or something uber-professional; whether you need it by next month or by 4pm tomorrow; (almost) anything is possible.
